Pilates for everyone
What I love most about Pilates is that anybody can do it. Exercises are suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. Maybe you are looking for a gentle class to help keep mobile, are interested in rehabilitation after an injury, or perhaps you want to work hard and push yourself further, it covers a broad range of requirements. Pilates helps build and maintain strength and flexibility in the joint structures of the body, and strengthens the core. Exercises target all muscle groups ensuring a balanced work out. Joseph Pilates once said, “If your spine is inflexibly stiff at 30, you are old. If it is completely flexible at 60, you are young”.
Hypopressives
Hypopressives is a low pressure exercise regime based on breathing, connecting into fascia and strengthening the core and in particular the pelvic floor. Hypopressives has successfully helped many people with pelvic floor disfunction and pelvic organ prolapse by decreasing or reducing internal pressure. Hypopressives also helps reduce back pain, diastases recti (separation of abdominal muscles) and poor posture. Hypopressives are a series of exercises, posture and breathing techniques, which are suitable for everybody, but particularly those people with pelvic floor issues. Your private or semi private Hypopressive session may be a stand alone session or may be combined with Pilates. Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information.

Personalised lessons to suit your needs
Adaptations can be made to all exercises to suit your body, so if you’re concerned that you have an injury and won’t able to do the exercises then adjustments can be made so that you can. Pilates is non-competitive, fun and effective. My priority is working at a level at which you feel most comfortable while increasing strength and flexibility.

Take good care of your body,
it’s the only place you have to live
As Joseph Pilates once said, “Never slouch, doing so compresses the lungs, overcrowds other vital organs, rounds the back and throws you off balance”.
“In ten sessions you’ll feel the difference, in twenty you’ll see the difference, and in thirty you’ll have a whole new body”.
